Call reversed. Everything looks good for the Huskies return trip to SLC this year. And for the foreseeable future.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostAndrew Andrews with the flagrant foul late in OT on Kuzma, I'm curious to hear how Larry feels about Washington after the game."You interns are like swallows. Brandon Taylor capped off a fantastic evening. Thank you Brandon."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

If I were making the decision for BYU, any negotiation with Utah for restarting the series has to start with Utah visiting Provo in the first game of that series. And add in a hefty buyout clause. That has to happen before any game can be played at Utah or a neutral site. Unfortunately, I don't think the fake doctor on the hill has any intent of ever playing in Provo again. I don't think anything will be agreed to under the current cast of characters. It could easily be at least ten years before the two teams play again in the regular season.

Pretty sure Dave Rose said those exact things. That any series would start in Provo and that the buyout would be increased.Originally posted by BlueK View PostIf I were making the decision for BYU, any negotiation with Utah for restarting the series has to start with Utah visiting Provo in the first game of that series. I remain disappointed that the game won't be played. The rivalry game is consistently one of the most interesting non-conference games on Utah's schedule. I'm not disappointed that BYU has lost one of the few quality opponents that will sign a home/home with them.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostPretty sure Dave Rose said those exact things. Dave Rose is taking the right stance, but that stance will ensure that the game isn't going to be played for a long time. I'd prefer the Utes take those terms, but they aren't going to.
I will miss kicking BYU's ass in basketball. It is a shame it won't be happening anytime soon. I guess I'll just have to enjoy beating BYU in football every year.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Georgetown and Maryland had the exact same issue from a series where one of them "owed" the other a home game. That finally ended this year and it was the first time they played a true home and home since the 1978-79 season.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostPretty sure Dave Rose said those exact things. Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
