KC with a near triple double but won't make it.

Nick with a big game back from suspension. 17 points and 6 reb.

Davis with a monster game. 14 and 14. He's taking all Nate's rebounds!

BYU played pretty well for the second game in a row. They played good defense and went 12/15 from the line.

Was really impressed with the D. Especially Kyle. He's such a great defender with his length, but he loafs on D a lot. That's the best I've seen us play man to man in a long time. Very active. Very strong on ball screens.

          Defense was outstanding. 8 blocks.

I enjoyed the game last night. It's always nice to beat the Aggies. The team looks much better than the first couple games. The rotations are coming together.

I'm hearing that the Aggies are really struggling up in Logan. They aren't filling the Spectrum and support is starting to dwindle. I wonder if that is more a factor of stew retiring (he basically retired from recruiting 2-3 years ago given the make up of the current team) or if it was them spending a couple years in that horrible WAC conference before BYU paved the way for them to get to the MWC.

I don't think USU is any worse than their average over the past 10 years. Maybe a little below their average, but I thought it was a typical USU team.

I think it has been the move to the MWC that has eroded excitement in Logan. They aren't beating up on pansies anymore, and it's not so fun.

Yup, that's it. And even with the MWC not being close to as good as it used to be.

I think their man D has been one of the sole bright spots for this team.

I was just going all donuthole on your grammar.

                          Bright spots:

                          1. Chase is now playing the way we expected.
                          2. Corbin has improved (but still makes some freshman mistakes)
                          3. Kyle Davis is solid
                          4. Emery is going to have a great career at BYU

                          Not so bright:

                          1. Free-throw shooting
                          2. Struggling against weak teams
                          3. First half against Utah
                          4. Nate is still Nate
                          5. Toolson faked us out

Seems like a nice guy, but I cannot understand what must be going through his head. At one point someone drives the baseline and then passes to Nate who is standing about five feet in front of the basket and the defenders have their backs to him watching the baseline. Nate turns and passes the ball back to the three point line.

When the Bronco news broke Nate tweeted about being concerned about who would replace Bronco on his stake's high council.
                              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
