I hope Monmouth's sideline celebrations ultimately kept them from an at-large (partially kidding).

Signed his contract last Friday. Didn't even hang around a week. Lol.

Could be worse, they could still have Dave Rice as their head coach.

            Ha.

Decades from now funk will be puttering around a rest home muttering something about Dave Rice under his breath.

Oh come on. You mean there aren't lots of BYU fans out there who pay as much attention to random former utah basketball assistants?

                Jeff Judkins?

Hardly random. He happens to coach a team at BYU. Any interest by any BYU fan in what Jeff Judkins does today has ZERO to do with where he used to play or coach. What reason would a Utah fan have to care about what Dave Rice is up to, other than the fact he used to coach at BYU?

I don't think that is the case, at least not yet.

Yes, as this episode has brought ignominy on UNLV, I am satisfied.

This has been all over the news for the last 24 hours. Beard was a Tech assistant for 10 years. He is divorced, and his three daughters live with his wife in Abilene, and Lubbock is a lot closer than Las Vegas.

A former BYU assistant that BYU fans told Ute fans would be an amazing coach for our team, but that he was too good for our program and we could never hire him. Also, the coach that we had to hear during his flash in the pan first season (with Lon Kruger's recruits) that he was so much better than the guy we hired. Yep, just a random assistant.
