My first games were at BYU. I don't remember the particular order. I remember attending the Depaul game which resulted the defeat of UCLA at the MC. I also saw UNLV in a few games and I remember watching UNLV and USF back when both were very good. It is an exciting atmosphere one you should not avoid.

Some suspect shooting. When does a streak become a trend or a trend become a pattern?

Aytes reminds me of a 60's ABA player.

Northern Iowa upsets No. UNC. Didn't see that coming, did any of us?

There's a chance BYU could play N. Iowa this year at that tournament in Hawaii.

Let me say that regardless of how good Miami may be this year, a top 20 team shouldn't be losing to anyone by a 90-66 score.

Ok good. Somehow this eases the sting of that Long Beach State loss.

This stuff happens in college basketball all the time. Early season losses are not a reason to hit the panic button.

Yes they do, and for major conference teams, early losses don't matter much. They matter more for a team such as BYU with a weak RPI.

Big wins in the early season seem to help more than a loss or two hurts. Obviously if you have enough bad losses they add up and are a problem. As we sit right now though, losing to LBSU on the road this early in the season is not that big of a deal. I think it can be a great development tool to be honest. You learn more from your losses than your wins.

I agree. If BYU doesn't get into the Dance it will be because they are not good enough, not because of the loss to LBSU.

If they learn and adjust, I agree it is better to fix what could be a problem down the road. In this instance, BYU doesn't need to push the pace if it is controlling matters down low.

Too bad we have damn Gonzaga in our conference, or we'd be a shoo-in every year.

Besides the fact that BYU has yet to finish alone in 2nd place since joining the WCC.
