    Well if that is what you think, congrats! Enjoy your moral victory. Hopefully that'll help take some of the sting off of one of the biggest collapses in NCAA tournament history. I think I heard yesterday that it was the largest margin of victory ever for a double-digit seeded team.

      And it could have been much worse. What a scam the Pac 10 was this year.
      Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

        Doesn't make me feel any better about the loss. It was a despicable post and frankly I'm surprised you are defending it or trying to justify it.

                      But maybe you are right. Maybe the one guy here in an interracial marriage happens to be an overt racist and you and SU can claim yet another moral victory.

                      Ummm, he isn't the only one around here in an interracial marriage, btw. And it sure looks like it was an ill-considered comment; but sometimes a joke doesn't work. Either way, MPFunk's indignant reaction is merely his attempt to avoid thinking about the pathetic performance of the Utes. But there is really no way to avoid the fact that it was an egg-laying of monumental proportions.

                      And SU is running around congratulating himself for stating the obvious: 80K was so clearly out-coached that the utes probably would have been better off if he had simply done nothing at all. Congrats big guy; that's some pretty impressive analysis you're laying down.

                      As for me, I'm glad the Utes are done. maybe now they'll stay away while we enjoy the modest but pleasant BYU run in the NIT.
