Asked about Luke's personality keeping things loose in the locker room:Luke is just a totally more confident player. He understands our system and how he can actually have an impact in that system. When you come in as a freshman it takes time to figure that out. And so everyday you're maybe trying something different. Luke is locked into getting low post catches, being able to facilitate our offense, getting offensive rebounds, being a really good post defender, screening hard and all the thing that he has found in his game, ways to help our team. And that's the biggest difference with him
He's a deep thinker. He's doesn't have any hesitation about being able to share his thoughts. I think that's good. It's amazing some of the discussions you walk in on coming in the locker room. They're talking about alot of things. I think its really good for the whole morale of the team.Comment

Read Rose's comments about Luke's contributions carefully. Luke is set to get low post touches (nothing about scores or shots), rebound hard on both ends of the court, play good post defense (i.e. he has 5 statements each game) and set really hard screens (perhaps some of those 5 statements will come screening).Originally posted by cougjunkie View Post
