How does one spell "n" with fat fingers. The "c", "u" and "t" are pretty self explanatory, but I am puzzled with the "n."Originally posted by YOhio View PostOnce again exposes Rick Majerus for the disgusting filth he is.
Great of Utenation to take Rick's "U" as their rallying symbol.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Maybe Rick learned ASL. Of course, Rick probably initially was interested in ASL because he heard "asshole" in his head when he read it.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostHow does one spell "n" with fat fingers. Yes, yes. You are all very affronted by Rick. I'm sure you would have felt the same if he had performed at a Giacoletti level. By the way, Rick wants to know if you are ever going to schedule an appointment with the proctologist so he can have his foot back.

Not defending Majerus' actions, but it is hilarious to see the reaction of zoobs about a guy who made their team his personal bitch."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

My guess is that if the Ues had not had any kind of success under Majerus, no BYU fans would care."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

So you admit he was a shitty dude. That's fine.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostLike I said, I'm not defending his actions.

Honestly, I wasn't at BYU or invested in BYU basketball during Majerus's run, so that really isn't a part of it for me. My opinion of the dude has been formed through the anecdotes of his own players.
I think he got a raw deal on the crown burger thing, but the Lance Allred and Britton Johnson stories tell you all you really need to know. I'm not up in the night obsessed with him.
He was a fat piece of shit who did a good job of getting wins. Whether or not he was a good coach....well...ask his players.
edit: if I was a Ute fan, I'd probably have the same opinion of him as a person. Then again...I'm not obsessed with getting W's over big brother, so who knows.

There's a difference between being a good coach and a good person. Majerus was a helluva basketball coach, otherwise, how could he have done what he did at Utah, especially for that 5 year or so stretch when Utah was one of the elite?Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostSo you admit he was a shitty dude. I've had plenty of chats with former players - many hate his guts for good reason and many love him for good reason as well. I don't doubt anything that any of them have to say. I will say he was a lousy person to have treated badly those that he did; I'll also say that he was a good person to those who told me that they had no problems with him.
It will always amuse me to hear BYU fans talk about what a horrendous person Majerus is. Losing only helps to magnify that, no?"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Hmm, but which players to ask? The ones you can count on one hand who didn't like him or Jensen, Miller, Van Horne or the dozens of others who loved him and were loyal to him?Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostHe was a fat piece of shit who did a good job of getting wins. But it is good to hear you are not obsessed with beating the Utes. It is fun to want to beat your rival, but obsession in a sports context is unhealthy.

Not at all. Like I said, I wasn't there. I never had the frustration of watching my team lose to a Majerus-coached team. But here is what I am essentially hearing from you:
BYU Fan: "Majerus was a fat piece of shit."
Your Response: "HA HA, you're just mad cause he owned your ass!"
Utah Player Coached By Majerus: "Majerus was a fat piece of shit."
Your Response: "I see."

You're almost as bad a guesser as Rick Majerus is a person. I don't care that much about BYU basketball or college hoops in general. I do care about human decency, which you seemingly don't.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostMy guess is that if the Ues had not had any kind of success under Majerus, no BYU fans would care.
