  • Because I am tired of listening to SeattleUte, Bring on the Ducks!

Oregon gets back Dominic Artis and Ben Carter this week. Arguably two of the best players from a year ago. Although Carter didn't quite live up to expectations. Artis was very good last year for a true freshman.

They are 9-0 with wins against Georgetown, @Ole Miss, and against Illinois.

They are lead by Joseph Young who can flat shoot the rock. He has been a monster this year, shooting .540 from the floor and .475 from three. He is averaging 19 per game.

Mike Moser a UNLV transfer is second in scoring and leads the team in rebounds at 7.6 per game.

They have 6 guys averaging double figures and like I said they return Dominic Artis and Ben Carter from suspensions. Artis was the starting pg last year and Carter is a 6'8 forward from Bishop Gorman.

    Familiar faces:

Jonathan Loyd is the younger brother of former BYU cougar Mike Loyd jr.

    Two way stars:

Oregon also has their own version of Bronson Kaufusi. Arik Armstead was a 5 star defensive lineman recruit that played in every game the last two seasons for the football team. He is 6'8 280 pounds. Armstead will not join the Ducks until after the bowl game.

Dave Rose said the practice schedule will be altered and practice time possibly limited as it is finals week. Mika could potentially receive a suspension from the WCC, and we have to play on that hideous court. What could possibly go wrong this week?

Really, the WCC is reviewing that foul? Any timeline for a decision? I am so tired of what I like to call the pussification of sports.

So the WCC feels like they are the little sisters to the PAC10? Of course if they weren't PAC10 officials at the UvsBYU game, then I still feel like the WCC are wimps if they suspend Mika.

This game is going to be great.

Looking forward to a lot of Matt Carlino driving to the basket:

BYU getting to the charity stripe a lot:

Austin and Mika controlling the paint defensively:

A whole lot of our lockdown perimeter D:

And another ranked opponent being intimidated by BYU's physical style of play:
            Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Bronco and Dave Rose are twin sons of different mothers. BYU always has one kind of coach, one kind of team.

the (vegas) spread will be double figures. If BYU wins it will be a big upset. BYU has lost 15 consecutive games to non-conference ranked oponents.

SU is as captivated by BYU athletics as we all are. He even looks up stats.

Given that Utah's RPI is still WAY below BYU's, expect the spread to be even bigger when Utah plays Oregon.

A double digit spread is probable but not uncommon for an unranked team going on the road to play a ranked team in its gym. Agreed that it would be a big upset. Oregon is good this year.

Mark my words: if BYU loses (most likely), SU will come here and thump his chest again and do his "I told you so" shtick.
