Delon Wright is a player. I would love to have him on our roster. That said, Haws is better. THaws has been working hard at his quickness all offseason. He is leaner and stronger which means he'll be quicker and still able to handle the pounding from opponents biggest thugs. I'm excited to see him be top 5 in scoring this year in the country and pass Jimmer and Danny on the all time scoring list for BYU. The best part is, he's the second best player in his family. TJ is about as good a kid as anyone could wish for off the court but on the court has the same anger on each possession that Thaws shows on occasion. He has the ability to score at all three levels and has no soul. I love Thaws, our role player but I still can't wait for TJ. I was hard pressed not to talk him out of a mission.

I'm delusional enough when it comes to BYU players that I still think THaws could be a poor man's Ray Allen in the NBA. He's just gotta extend his great mid-range shooting out to include the NBA 3-point line.

And I'm stoked for TJ. Love the way he guns from all over the court Jimmer-style.

Moral conflict. Also, I would say there is a 0% chance that anyone could have talked him out of it. He was one of the finest young priests I've ever worked with.
