I just like to win at least half of the close games. After losing that close one to Iowa State it was nice to have a little run at the end to get this win.
Rose, please tell our guys that nobody should ever throw the ball to Tucker Carlson unless he's WIDE OPEN under the basket. The dude should not be trying to post up and make moves to the basket during the last five minutes of a close game.
I'm not sure the Wide Open qualifier should be included.

Both my wife and I know and like Topper, but when I read to her Topper's observations followed by this comment after Tyler swished from the corner, even the straitlaced Mrs. PAC laughed and highfived me.

We played like crap. We can't seem to rebound out of the zone. And we had to play zone because we couldn't matchup with Ridley, Holmes or Ibeh. As a result we got killed on the glass. They had 17 offensive boards to our 7. On top of that we had some really silly turnovers, 16 in all. But this was a game we need to learn to win when we're not playing well. Texas isn't that good. But it feels like we always seem to drop these kinds of games. I'm glad that the Cougars finally gutted one out.
I only saw about half of the game. I love it when a player can fight through an off night. Haws was able to not only fight it off, but go from NBA JAM heating up to "He's on fire"
Austin looked less assertive from what I saw. Hopefully he gets back to where he has been at times this year. This team really needs him to play well and be a 2nd presence. He needs to just grab the ball and pull it down. He seems to kind of float along sometimes.
