    Good luck Dave Rose

Sounds routine, but anytime cancer is involved, especially in someone that's had it before, best wishes are always in order.

Get better, Coach. You are one of the good Cougars!

Ugh. Best wishes to coach rose. Why can't we find a cure for cancer?

Anyone know exactly what kind of "spots" these were? What kind of surgery he had?

In regards to curing cancer: there are thousands of cancers. It would be nice if there were one pill to cure them all, but sometimes it's about effective screening to pick up a mass and surgically cure it. Hopefully this is the case with coach Rose.

No idea other than his cancer is being reported as "neuroendocrine." I wonder if they behave like Zollinger-Ellison tumors, where it is difficult to find/remove the main tumor. We have a young man in our ward who came from his mission for his 3rd or 4th major abdominal surgery to remove accumulated tumors but they're not confident they got the main tumor.

Gastrinomas are bad, right up there on my list of things not to get (like Crohn's).

Ran into Coach Rose after the Texas game. He didn't look robust and seemed small. His wife gave me a broad smile so I am taking my cue from her.

Looks like he is on the mend and should be good to go when the season starts.
