  • Tavernari withdraws from the NBA draft, will stay at BYU

It was "breaking news" on the local sports talk radio right before I got home about an hour ago.

There had been talk of three MWC teams being fairly equal preseason favorites for the league title, but this should make BYU the front runner imo.

In other news, Surfah and I have also withdrawn from the NBA draft and will continue to work our day jobs.

Hmmm...I heard Surfah has signed with an agent.

Great, between the three of you we really are low on options at #5.

As an aside, if there is a draft to try and stick in with marginal talent, it might be this one.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

It's true. I already have workouts scheduled with the Dakota Wizards and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Turns out that had I returned anyway, UVSC was going to file a formal complaint with NCAA about eligibility for some correspondence courses I took back in '97.
