Mika is way more athletic that I thought.

Looks like the same clip I posted yesterday that for whatever reason was made private.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

        Agreed.

How good is that Proviso team supposed to be? They got destroyed.

#2 in Illinois behind Simeon (Jabari's team) and ranked 13th nationally. They were playing without their best player though. But still, he's going to SMU and wouldn't make up 40 points.

I haven't paid any attention to this but Lone Peak is ranked 3rd in the country, at least according to this:

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

LP plays the #5 team on that ranking - Chester, PA in a few days.

Proviso East has dropped out I see. They lost 2 or 3 games this year already. I believe they only lost 1 game last year and lost to Simeon for the title 50-48. Their star player was suspended for the LP game for poor sportsmanship on the court after losing their previous game.

Also play Archbishop Mitty(#12) later in the year.

For those in the SL valley, LP plays at Cottonwood tonight at 7.

                        http://www.slamonline.com/online/col...nt-in-chicago/

The buzz in the UIC Pavilion Saturday afternoon wasn’t from Simeon senior Jabari Parker making his surprise debut against Milton (GA) in the night cap of the inaugural Chicago Elite Classic.
It was the reaction of thousands of Chicagoland hoop-heads to their introduction of Utah’s Lone Peak High school........

The Pirates were led by junior Jevon Carter, who buried 5 treys on the way to 22 points. They were missing their top player, SMU-bound wing Sterling Brown, who sat for disciplinary reasons but he nor basically anyone else playing high school basketball would have changed the outcome of the game.

To bad they didn't play Parker's team.
