3rd best team?!?!? Hell I'm not even sure BYU is the 5th best team in the conference. I told donut before tipoff the loser of the game did not deserve to go the tourney and the winner along with St. Marys will be one and done. Gonzaga absolutely deserved to win the game, other than fat cheerleaders and pudgy guys with Adam-Mo pornstaches, GU was better in every single facet Sat night.

None of this changes the fact, these were the worst fans I've dealt with at an away game, and I've been to games all over the country. I honestly doubt many on here (referring to BYU or Utah posters) know more Gonzaga fans personally than I do, and with the exception of Saturday night my run ins with them have been 100% positive.

The reality is Pangos owned Carlino Saturday night, and may or may not, continue to dominate him over the next 3 years, I look forward to watching the matchup. I was surprised to see Matt do a better job of staying in front of him than Chuck did. In my opinion, Charles is the best on ball defender BYU has had in over a decade, but he was abused by KP. Props to the kid. Unlike a few of the fans I've dealt with recently, he seems like a great guy. Plus he's got that whole bangin' left and right thing going for him...

I'm fairly certain I have said the same thing in person (over our romantic leg of lamb dinner, which you were too busy to show up for this year ) I've complained about Y fans on here and CB for years. BYU fans are terribly annoying, as were these kids. It was the alcohol which took it to a whole other level; crossing all kinds of lines of common decency.

I think this is definitely more accurate. BSU fans and Zag fans seem to think they need to prove they belong all the time. I'd say you've both arrived so just relax.

You do realize don't you that the typical Gonzaga student has had rich parents and every advantage and opportunity and could get into no better than Gonzaga, a fourth tier school with an astronomical tuition. It's basically a big playpen for kids with arrested development, often from too much rec drug use.

BYU can bring out the worst in people, BYU fans included. There are certainly some BYU/Utah/Gonzaga/SDSU/etc fans that are pricks independent of what school they represent, but nonetheless.

It's too bad SDSU is going to the Big West and not the WCC. The douchebaggery in Vegas between those two fanbases would be off the charts (I will add that the limited interaction I had with Zag fans when they were here for the NCAA tournament in '06 was unremarkable).

Besides the LDS Church itself, I don't think there are many things that molest you more than BYU. So in a sense, you are correct: BYU doesnt bring out the worst in you. It brings out the best in you.
