This is what's so confusing. I thought Floyd had the job all wrapped up, and then he was back to staying at USC. This era of getting the scoop before the news is solid makes it difficult to follow sports journalism sometimes.

Oh well. Miller is a much better choice than Boylen

What is even more interesting is the fact that Miller said he didnt want the AZ job. Now he is there.

I will say this. The fact that Arizona hired a guy of this caliber to replace Lute probably means they really have arrived. This is one of the tests.

                  Sean Miller to Maryland?

According to sources; Sean Miller will be named new men's basketball coach at the University of Maryland on Monday

Maybe Arizona can hire Boylen now. I'm sure Jimmy's interested.

If reports that Miller was unhappy with the expectations at Arizona, I'm not sure he's going to like College Park. The difference though is he has the best recruiting grounds in America in his backyard. The bad part is he's going to be the third best team every year.

Arizona made a big mistake hiring Miller. If they had just hired their backup plan to Miller, Jim Boylen, they would not be looking for a coach right now. They would have probably had a sub-.500 season this year, but Boylen would have another year and they wouldn't need to find a new coach this year. Live and Learn Wildcats, Live and Learn.

Sounds like Arizona AD Greg Byrne has signed Miller to an extension. Good for them.
