Meh, the team was trying to get Martineau a bucket. Martineau obliged but missed. SF's coach should have taught his team to box out in one of the two timeouts he called in the last minute.

Yeah, I wouldn't blame Austin really, the ball hanging in the air above the rim is too much to pass up. Martineau probably shouldn't have shot on the final possession with his team up 30ish. No big deal, but I can see why USF fans didn't like it.

No truer words have ever been typed on CUF. I would even add that inside out is not enough, Hartsock needs to get a low or mid post catch every possession and when he does we are nearly impossible to stop. He makes great passes as well as great offensive plays.

That's up for debate. I believe it's a confidence issue. Others disagree. It could be an hc issue. Remember last year it came out that Davies had internal suspensions for certain games for HC issues and people were trying to figure out why he wasn't playing? Maybe it's like that.

I don't think this is correct. Last year, if I recall right, the only game Brandon didn't play in at all was the Utah State game. If he was going to be suspended internally for HC issues...it would have been for the whole season. Actually now that I think about it, it could be true. He is classic (and not in a good sense), I'm sure he could have just wormed his way out of it.

I read that BYU assisted on their first 18 FG possessions (supposedly an NCAA record) and 27 assists on 29 FGs. Insane passing today and unselfishness. Carlino really controlled the tempo and offense well today I thought.

I think Dave Rose started it. The other coach emptied his bench around 6:20. That's when Rose should have acknowledged the "uncle" and took out his starters. But they all stayed in, which pissed off the USF coach, who then called a bunch of timeouts for teaching moments. That made BYU mad, so they kept pressing.

Didn't Harrison come in with about 8 minutes left? I don't remember for sure, but I think at the time Harrison, Winder or Cusick, and a back-up along the front line (Sharp I think) were in. So BYU's back-ups played plenty in the 2nd half.

At one point Carlino, Winder, Harrison, and Sharp were in together with Davies. 4 freshmen. That's when I made the comment that Rose should put in Austin for Davies.
