Worst ever NCAA DI basketball team?

Are the 2011-12 Utes the worst NCAA DI team in history? The only other team I've been aware of in my lifetime that may be as bad as this Ute team is that 1-26 BYU team.

Two teams this bad from Utah. Hmmmmm. Coincidence? I doubt it. I think the LDS church is at least partially to blame.

If it hasn't already happened, then SU has officially jumped the shark.

Don't worry. Utah will have to wait until next year to claim the title of worst ever. In 2008, the New Jersey Institute of Technology went 0-29.

But loss #29 occurred in the state of Utah against UVU, so your LDS church conspiracy theory might have legs.

I think that we underestimate SU funny bone. I think he is clearly poking fun at himself here and I find it quite humorous.

Wrong! The high road includes being honest and fair towards friends. SeattleUte asked a question and I gave an honest answer.

Please go back and search the game threads since my conversion. I am one of the few that is always there to encourage the Utes towards their second win of the season.

This Saturday will be a living hell for me. Talk about inner turmoil!

Taking the high road would also include knowing when to not say anything.

You may be right. Apologies to my Ute/PAC 12 friends. My intent was good.

Apology accepted. But the next entrance to the high road is closed for repairs, so you'll have to get back on at the one after that.

I would say yes, the Utah Utes are on their way to the worst basketball in the history of the NCAA. They are in a Big 6 conference and could possibly not have a D1 win. I can't think of any other team in a big 6 conference as bad and going through historical bad seasons, all come from the fringe D1 conferences.

I am not on the high road, I am on the highway to hell.

I AM on the high road, but I have already stated my opinion, which seems to mirror yours.

The high road allows for honesty.

Good point. If you look at those lists of the worst seasons ever, none of them was from a league even remotely as prestigious as the PAC-12.

PAC 12? Prestigious? In 2011-12? I assumed they were the laughing stock of college basketball this season.

JL said prestigious, no where did he say they were any good.
