  • Utah vs. Boise State - Back To The Mtn.

Utah at Boise State tomorrow in Boise at 6 PM. Back to Craig Thompson's disaster of a TV network once more. Let's show him what we're worth by only losing by 15. Boise State's 2-0, so I don't think it will be a good outcome.

Ironically, the MWC channel did not broadcast BSU's visit to the Huntsman Center last year, choosing instead to air a re-run football game.
Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."
Gen. Burkhalter: "Klink, I am a staff officer."
Col. Klink: "I didn't mean you sir, you're not clever."

Obviously it was a ploy by Craig Thompson, and it showed that he hated us last year after we announced the Utes were leaving in June.

Line is Boise -7. That's right, the Utes are 7 point underdogs against a team that was picked to finish dead last in the MWC.

And I'm still tempted to bet Boise.

Last year Utah needed a last second shot to beat Boise at the Huntsman Center. While that was a bad Utah team, this year the Utes are even worse.

Maybe the Ute players should spend some time every day staring at this pic:

Really? I just assumed, they could only go up from last years train wreck. I haven't paid any attention to the Utah basketball, since Boylen last hugged Jimmer. Is there any hope on on the horizon? How far back do you have to go to find a 2 or 3 year stretch this bad?

Line is up to Boise -8.5. The betting market realizes what we already know - this team STINKS.

I'm not that old but if this isn't the worst team in Utah history, I'll be surprised. I'd say they are on par with the 1 win BYU team.

LK did not bring in players equal to or better than Clyburn or O'Brien who left after Boylen was fired.

Add in that Foster is out 6-8 weeks with a foot injury.

I'm hoping they can get at least one more win.

Presuming a low single-digit win count, unprecedented at Utah over a three-year period.

Foster told me he was out 4 weeks with his foot.

You had to go and bring that team up again. What's wrong with asking the football coach if he can spare some overweight unathletic players to fill out a roster?

I was at the Utah State game that year.
