It is Oregon, but there are rumblings he is going to have to go the JUCO route. Altman has done a really nice job there.

Let's not use this abomination as the game thread. Pretty please.

Whoops. Two steps forward, 3+ backwards. Artis suspended and transferring, Dotson and new transfer Brandon Austin suspended. Rumors are serious offense.

            Looks like forcible rape investigation.

Cops say it did happen but they don't have enough evidence to press charges.

Awful, I really hope none of them play for Oregon again. I can't see taking my kids to games if they do.

All three dismissed from school. Oregon pres says school knew before tourney, AD says they didn't. Altman may be in trouble, he's speaking at 3.

Well they won't. After seniors graduating, transfers and these three dismissed Oregon returns just two players next year.

That press conference today was a bit sketchy. I don't know what to believe reading multiple things. There seems to be lots of conflicting information about who knew what and when and why disciplinary action wasn't taken sooner. I don't buy for one minute that Altman and Mullens didn't know who was involved until the police report came out last week. That doesn't jibe with their explanation that they didn't take disciplinary action sooner because the EPD told them not to. Something is amiss. Also, they didn't know about Austin's open investigation for a sexual assault offense at Providence before transferring? Really?

Yeah I struggle to buy it too, but my friend in the basketball office told me he didn't know until about 2 weeks ago. He's leaving next week for a non-bball job in a different part of the country so I have a hard time thinking he's lying to me while golfing.

I think it is four players not two! Young, Abdul-Basit, Cook and Bell who didn't become eligible until Jan last season and redshirted.

Brandon Austin is good enough someone is going to give him a 3rd chance. I've heard that from 2-3 different people, that's sad.

unfortunate thread title given the circumstances.

I can also see why no charges were ultimately pursued. Very confusing behavior by the alleged victim likely makes it tough to successfully try the case.

Juwan Howard's kid plays for Detroit, he's wearing Adidas socks with Jordan's. I think that says all I need to say about him.

I thought of this very thing today at the gym. Dude was wearing Adidas shoes, Nike socks, an under Armour shirt, and an Obey hat. It really bothered me.

I typically rock all addidas gear on the soccer field. I was going straight to a game from work last week and realized I had forgotten a headband, which I need to keep the hair out of my eyes. I stopped at a sporting goods store on the way to the game and they only had Nike headbands. It's silly, but it really bugged me wearing conflicting gear.

I have a pair of nike shorts that I really like, but outside of that I go full adidas. I too feel weird about it.

Despite outfitting half of the world's top teams, Nike still doesn't seem like a soccer brand to me.
