I'm not sure why NIT games don't count. If you're going to include all those crappy bowl games, you might as well include NIT games. And yes, I know it doesn't make an appreciable difference.

If over 50% of college football teams play in bowl games and all bowl games count, then the top 35% to 40% of basketball teams that go to some form of postseason play should have their games count.

I find it amusing that some mid-December bowl between a Sun Belt and MAC team in Upper West Bufu, Louisiana can count for something, but an NIT game can't.

I think I ignore Utah more than most people around here. Utah doesn't really interest me. I don't obsess about whoever they are recruiting, hiring to be their new assistant coahes. I don't have any interest in venturing over to the intellectual wasteland that is UFN, I don't even post in the UofU sports forum in CG and I usually have the UteSmack topic ignored on CB.

I dislike Utah and I want them to lose every time they play, which isn't all that atypical of a big rivalry, but that is merely a sentiment, not an overriding obsession. I don't watch Utah on TV just to see if they perhaps will lose.

P.S. This thread is a BYU sports thread, but that didn't stop you and SU from trying to steer the topic to Utah.
