Only 2 MWC Tourney teams

There's been a lot of talk about the MWC getting 3 or 4 teams in the Tourney, but I'm not convinced that UNLV has it's ticket punched unless it wins the MWC Tourney and there's no way SDSU or New Mexico are making it unless they win the Tourney.

There's a real good chance only BYU and Utah make the NCAA Tournament. Course I think if BYU loses to Wyoming on Wed night that might put them squarely back on the bubble.

I don't think they will lose, but ya never know and with 3 straight bad 1st halfs against UNM, UNLV and SDSU they've been playing with fire.

I think UNLV is in with a win over SDSU on Saturday. They have an RPI of 51 which is not stellar but they have wins over BYU (2), Utah, Louisville, and Arizona.

SDSU needs to beat UNLV on Saturday and then win a game in the MWC tourney, they have an RPI of 46 but they have no out of conference quality wins, but they do have wins over Utah and at UNLV. A second win over UNLV might do it.

New Mexico has an RPI of 70, they need to beat Utah, Wyoming and get to the finals of the MWC tourney. Their only quality win is over BYU, after that its Ole Miss who has an RPI of 77.
