Nope. Not at all. I'm not looking to nail you. I get grief from a lot of BYU fans for cheering for Utah when not playing BYU. I really do like Utah athletics and I'm happy when they do well when it doesn't come at the expense of BYU. I don't say much negative about the U ever. The truth of the matter is that both schools have the same core fans. Outside of the rivary and maybe the MWC, the rest of the world might as well think we're the same school. I used to be pretty active on Utefans, but the negativity just got very old. When I read a linked post there I see it hasn't changed much. A small vocal minority speaks like BYU is the great satan, mindless and worthless, a few more red stars and more examples, and a couple of holier than thou Ute fans piling on and finally someone mentioning that the Church should pull a Ricks on them. Maybe you should remind that site that you need your rival to be strong for the very reasons you mentioned in that post 8 years ago. I hope Larry can turn it around. I would like to live through another Chambers/Vranes vs Ainge/Roberts type era. I was too young the first time.

I felt that way up until now. With them in a new conference and the rivalry game not an end of year game, I don't care if they lose every time they walk on a field, court, mat, ski slope, etc.

Ha-- exactly. I feel like the rivalry is kind of dead now. Especially now that I'm no longer in Utah.
