Winner of the MWC tournament

I really don't think that UNLV is going to win the MWC tourny. They have created too difficult of a situation to dig themselves out of. Their path looks like this:

Game 1: SDSU
Game 2: 1 seed (Utah/UNM/BYU)
Game 3: 2 or 3 seed (Utah/UNM/BYU)

It would be very difficult to get consecutive wins against the top 4 in the conference and I don't see UNLV doing it.

You forgot the MWC's "NCAA-bubble-team-must-win-tourney" rule, so that more MWC teams make it to the dance. I think UNLV is a bubble team right now (but that could change in the next few days).

This year will be a tough road for almost anyone, including UNLV. If the seeds hold, thos semi-final games are going to be battles...let's just hope everyone is still standing after the tourney!

Should be a lot of fun.

I think Wyoming could knock someone off in the right 3-6 match up and if Utah draws CSU in the first round...look out.
