Look, folks, for the first time in a LONG time, we're going to see better than a 7 or 8-seeded BYU team in the tourney. We don't carry the burden of the 1-seed. If we are a 3-seed, we're the best three seed in the tourney and I think we make a great run.

Well, that sucked. Our backcourt played every minute of every game and it hurt us. Having a six man rotation in a tournament like this was bound to come back and bite us. I'm just glad during the tournament we won't have to worry about playing 3 games in 3 days.

I'm starting to worry a bit about the shooting slump our guys are in. We need to start knocking down open looks if we want to make a run. Jimmer can't carry us every night. Teams are going to help and collapse exactly like SDSU did tonight and force other guys to beat them.

The worst part of that is those are mostly open looks.

How far BYU goes in the dance will be determined by Hartsock, Emery and Abouo. Jimmer might be able to win one game by himself, but those three stiffs have to knock down all those easy shots at some point. Emery, for one, is such a choker in big games.

Hartsock's shot was super flat tonight. I think he got front rim on every shot except the one he made.

I am confident with some rest and some reps in practice this week we'll work it out. I still think we get to the second weekend. We may need Jimmer to go off then though to get to the Elite 8.

ouch, wasn't able to watch the game because of a commitment to some friends in need and I just saw the score. Looks like a replay of the UNM II game. I do hope we're able to get a 2 or three seed in the west, but I'm not too optimistic about that.

We were too tired. Nothing else to say about the subject. Good thing we are only playing two games a week. When you are undersized you get worn out. When you aren't deep you get worn out. I think we can get wins in the tournament. BYU will get a 3 IMHO and make the sweet 16.

A jump shooting team, playng their 3rd game in 3 nights with a rotation that only goes 6 deep. First thing to go is your legs. BYU a very good transition defense team gets beat down the floor over and over again. I agree completely. Not to worried about that game.

Kawhi Jelly and Billy White are bitches though. They don't talk all year including the first two games and then all of the sudden they run their mouths in this game, at least Billy talked shit from the beginning although getting in Dave Roses face was inexcusable. Kawhi does not say a word until the game is over.

Oh well time to move on.

He was talking earlier when Jimmer crossed him up and took him to the hole scoring on the and one.

Billy was talking from the opening tip, at one point he turns toward the BYU bench and is about 5 feet from Dave Rose and yells right at him and pounds his chest.

Also when he was poked in the eye by his own guy, he pounds the floor and drops a huge F-bomb. I was sitting near Dave Roses wife and she yells out "Quit swearing!" it was pretty funny.

She got a bit intense towards the end of that game.

I thought SDSU was embarrassing to themselves. We have beaten them a lot of times in a row and we have called off the dogs at the end and been classy during the game. They don't say shit when they lose but talk trash when they win ... pussies. Only time I talk trash is when I'm losing. Nothing to say when winning.

I'm still surprised (and amused) that until this year, SDSU had never been ranked, and that they're still looking for their first NCAA win in the school's history. Given that tradition and, let's face it, the meager intellectual gifts of a couple of their bigs, one can hardly expect them to comport themselves with dignity.

Seriously. I would be more bothered if they even had the basketball tradition we have (meager as that is) but they truly have never been here.
