BYU vs UNM III

I am getting amped for this game. I am banking on some tired legs from UNM. 4 of their starters logged more than 30 minutes. Aside from Kendall Williams nobody shot well. They should have lost yesterday but CSU couldn't rebound defensively. UNM cleaned up the offensive glass.

I think we're starting to figure out how to rebound out of the zone with this lineup. Gordon will still be beastly in the middle I am sure, but I think we're rotating better to the outside and able to closeout on the threes. Yesterday, those <30% 3 point shooters were hitting contested shots out of their asses. I also don't anticipate Jax and Jimmer shooting as poorly as they did.

Third time is the charm and we send the Lobos to the NIT tonight.

Gary respects Jimmer. Hobson had Tre'Von in him, but he's gone now. I think there is mutual respect between these teams. Alford is still an asshole even if he thinks JT is one.

So if we lose to UNM, what's the best seed we can hope for? I say a 4, but likely a 5, which will make any W in the Dance pretty difficult. I don't imagine the Jimmer will let that happen.

In fact, I believe Rose has beaten Alford only once. So maybe with our new game plan sans Davies, we might strike a lucky blow. Cause whatever we were doing before, it wasn't working.

Yeah KL is correct. Alford has owned Rose. Rose owned UNM prior to his arrival though.
