  • Jim Calhoun post game spat w/reporter

When asked about his salary and the current economic times, Calhoun lashes out at the reporter. What's even funnier is that the reporter calls out the other reporters there and they turn on him.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Most of the reaction to this in the media has been positive towards Calhoun. My favorite part by far was when the guy says, "Well, if these other guys would ask you about it I wouldn't have to..." and all the other media guys jump all over him and are like "oh shut up," "get out of here."

Probably a rare moment where the local media and Calhoun got along. Joined against a common enemy.

He's a law student at UConn and has a blog. Here's the laughable way he saw how things took place that day:

Yep. And that he doesn't understand that when you ask questions to a coach right after a game, the questions should probably be about the game.
