I said the same thing in another thread. The Big East is nothing but walk the ball up and get into the half court set and run 25 seconds off the clock per possession. And I see a lot of Big East basketball."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

With another loss to another unranked team, I think that all but shuts the door on Wright's campaign for NPOY.
If Jimmer has a good game this Saturday, win or lose (as long as it is a close loss), the award is his.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

And I agree. I think the award is Jimmers, barring a massive let-down or turnover-fest. Sullinger is coming on strong, but I think he just had too little too late to make a serious run at NPOY.
Nolan Smith still has an outside chance, based more on his school than anything else. he is a nice player, but not NPOY caliber, imo.

The problem with Sully and Smith is that their teams are both loaded. Sully also can't create his own shot and relies on his teammates to feed him the ball. Smith has been great. But he has another first team AA alongside him. And really too little too late. I can't see anyway that Jimmer loses the award. And the AnnArbor.com poll pretty much shows this.Originally posted by bluegoose View PostWalker?
