Three wins for BYU against the Top 50 is nice. Nobody has more than 3 wins against the Top 50 -- a few other teams also have won 3.

Those USU and St. Mary's games were good wins.

For SU's benefit, I should point out that the math/science says that BYU would beat both Washington and Washington State (although Washington's ELO Predictor of 5 is impressive, BYU is 4).

Unfortunately SU prefers to rely on his own religious/supernatural biases and traditions rather than rely on science when it comes to sports predictions.

I don't think I can ever remember a year in which the MWC was a lock this early in the year to get three teams into the dance. Too bad UNM's OOC SOS is abominable, else it might be four. But if UNM gets 22-23 wins, and holds serve at home against the MWC's big 3, I think the Lobos can make it four.

They are damn good wins. I think the Arizona and Creighton wins will end up being good wins as well.

Every year I seemed to hear the statement, "and we had to accommodate teams because of restrictions" blah blah blah which is code for "no Sunday play? Have a 10 seed instead of a 6".
