how about the MWC's approach for basketball. A season like this with so much parity really highlights the idiocy of playing the tournament in Vegas every year. It's total baloney and one reason why I'd like Utah out of the MWC.

People who are complaining about the tournament being Vegas are completely missing the point. The MWC conference tournament has nothing to do with competition. It is a money making venture and nothing else. Las Vegas is the only viable option to make money on this sham. If the MWC really cared about competition they would get rid of the tournament all together, but if you are going to have it you have to have it in Vegas.

What would be better for Utah? The WAC? Sun Belt? Big Sky? MWC is the best you can do, my friend.

I agree, I do however wish they had a different Venue in Vegas that they can hold it at. Like perhaps the MGM grand garden arena.

As long as moving the venue doesn't decrease the revenue, I think that would be a good idea. However, anything that cuts into revenue by even a couple bucks is a bad decision. The tournament is 100% about money. If the MWC gave a damn about competition they would cancel the tournament.

I appreciate your effort to completely devalue the tournament. But the fact remains that's how the conference selects its automatic qualicier to the NCAA tournament. It also affects seeding. It's a disgrace.
