Two of the most amazing halves of basketball i've ever witnessed. The first, amazingly awful, with BYU going eight minutes without scoring and shooting horrifically. Then a second half comeback, including a buzzer beater, while Dybantsa was absolutely the superstar he was expected to be.

Mrus shouldn't be this bad. I wasn't expecting a star but he has shown far more than he is showing for BYU. There is at least hope there.

I wonder how Mrus is in practice. Is he hitting shots there, and the coaches are just waiting for it to carry over to an actual game, or is he abysmal in practice, too?

I agree - the hope is that this is an anomaly and he trends back toward historical averages.

[Or, perhaps more accurately, average. He took 193 3PT shots last season, which is more than Richie took, and made 38.0% of them. Everything else about his prior season stats looks mediocre at best to my novice eye. This year, he is 3-18 from 3 so far.]
