  • Utah looking tough against UNLV in the first half

Utah is up 11 on the rebels and they are at UNLV. In the few minutes I've watched Neville has had 4 blocks.

Seems like the MWC is up for grabs this year. I thought BYU was going to sleepwalk through it but I could now see the Cougs finishing as low as 3rd or possibly even 4th if things go horribly awry. Based on this game it appears Utah is more of a contender than I had thought.

One of the better first halfs Utah has had on the road under Boylen. If they can withstand the run that UNLV will have to start the half, they'll have a shot at stealing one on the road.

I really don't like how tight UNLV is allowed to play defensively at home...from Marcus Banks to Jerrell Blassingame, they always seem to be allowed to play just a little bit tighter than most teams.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Well, now you're getting the same 2nd half effort that BYU saw. But at least they aren't doing this to you in your house.

Did you watch the BYU vs UNLV game at the Marriot Center? Jimmer was getting hounded all game. His arm was actually bleeding and I saw Dave Rose grab him by the arm and show the refs.

The difference in the 2nd half is exactly the same thing that happened in Provo earlier this week - UNLV made good adjustments and Utah, like BYU didn't counter.

UNLV couldn't his the side of a barn in it's first half shooting, but that changed in the 2nd half.

I don't care about the officiating because we know with MWC refs the officiating is going to suck. A team just has to fight though it and play the game.

The Utes just didn't get it done and UNLV did. That's all there really is to it.

Every year its the same damn story. I swear, Utah leads UNLV at halftime of almost every game they play in Vegas and end up losing by double figures.
