  • Did Utah sign any other JC transfers

after Jimmy cut out all the cancers? I know they got an oft travelled journeyman via Sheridan College, but I thought I heard about another JC transfer that verballed/signed there. I thought the U was still hunting for at least two more, did anything come of it?

I admit to returning to Utefans for a bit to see, but it was mostly about Harvey Unga.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

They signed a kid from some small college in Iowa. A 6'6 Swingman Will Clyburn.

So what is the Utah roster next year?

PGs: Hines, Tavita, Freshman named Guiot
SGs: Clyburn, Some Freshman who might qualify (name forgotten)
      SFs: Sheridan JC Transfer, Gee-Luvah
PFs: Watkins, Some other Freshman (O'neil or something like that), Neil Monson
      Cs: Foster, Washburn

I guess if Monson plays next year Utah has one more scholie to offer? Is that right.

Not all. Apparently one of the cancers returned.

That is what the physician types call a benign tumor, right?

Dominique Lee and JJ Obrien are the 2 freshmen that will play SG and SF positions. Obrien is the bigger player and bigger scorer and would probably see more time at the SF spot. Lee is the better defender and is more of a SG.

I believe Monson has an academic scholarship though he will also play/redshirt for the Utes in basketball.

I would think that Boylen is looking for another JC 4. Without another JC 4 his post players are Watkins and freshman, albeit quite an academician, Neil Monson at the PF and then the dynamic block shoting duo of Foster and Washburn at the 5.

I would think so too...with that said, we very well could see a rotating 4-5 position of Washburn, Foster and Watkins. I think ideally he will find someone to add to that, but I bet Boylen is prepared to go with those 3 as well.

Or one of his bigger wings in Obrien or the Sheridan JC transfer will see some time at the 4 when the Runnin' Utes look to go small. Sounds like you guys are going to fill a team. Take the advice of Bronco Mendenhall of having a core philosophy to show up and play the games at the locations and the times they are scheduled (very important that these two concepts be mutually inclusive) and I think the Utes will be just fine!

I think they will be fine as well. I have little doubt that the Utes will pull off at least 7 wins next year. And then WATCH OUT. It will be no time before the Utes are back in double figure with wins.

As long as one shows up at the location and time when the games are scheduled, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

Magic happens! This is the year that Tavita becomes a star.

This kid is a nice get, Iowa State stashed him at a juco and wanted him back, big ten schools started showing late interest after he had a couple games over 40 points, he can pour it in.
Utah is fighting with Cinncy for a juco point guard.

Utah has interest in a big from CEU, last name of Thompson. He seems more of a defensive oriented guy

He's from Casper College, blood enemy of Sheridan College.
