I'd go fat guy, every day of the week. Majerus was a great coach and his teams overachieved. The Utes were Gonzaga before Gonazaga became Gonzaga.....what I mean by that was that the Utes were crashing the Big Dance with regularity, beating good teams, and messing up brackets before Gonzaga started in with its run of surprising excellence.

Was Reid a really good coach? All I remember these days was the flameout year, frankly. I didn't think he was known as a stellar Xs and Os guy, although now that I think about it, he did win a few conf championships and a couple of conf tournaments. Also went to the NCAAs quite a bit. OK, never mind, I answered my own question.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Reid did pretty well with minimal talent

I went to the Majerus hoops camp twice, it was awesome. I learned a lot about basketball and I think Majerus was a great coach.

During one stay in the Utah dorms for the camp my roommate and I were making prank phone calls, one time we mistakenly thought we were dialing a number that began with 944- which is a SLC prefix, instead called 911. About 30 minutes later campus police showed up. We offered up some lame excuse that a 12-14 year old would think of, they said something about not playing around on the phone and left.

Of all the camps I'd worked and coached at, no one knew the game better than Majerus. Brilliant basketball mind.
