SU will predict a BYU loss for every game. There's nothing interesting about it. We lose some and we win a lot more. SU is still there predicting a loss. His predictions don't deserve this amount of attention.

Fair enough, however in staying with this current millennium theme, I would also like to point out Dave Rose is but one win away from equaling the NCAA win total of one Ray Giacolletti.

How many tournament wins behind Giac is Boylen? I've lost count. TIA!

BYU won in the Dance against a higher seed. How does one not give props for that??? Congrats, Cougars. I love to beat you but a win in the Dance is a win in the Dance is a win in the Dance. (Even if no one's rear end got kicked.)

You do know that Florida was a lower seed, right?

Yes, sir. I meant that BYU was the underdog won a tough game. I was trying to give the Cougs props but slipped up.

an observation: CB is talking about BYU basketball right now. CUF (the alleged more mature and rival-friendly board) is mired in rivalry smack and cross talk.

In view of the multiple threads about B-Ball straight up, I wouldn't say "mired", although your point is well-taken. Given the name and ecumenical nature of this board, I think we're all behaving rather well. Hell, even Mr. C is sharing his crayons.

Considering Rose has been here twice as long as Boylen and the NCAA tourney win count is 1-0. Should you really be running this line?

Didn't Giac and Boylen coach about the same amount of time at the u? -- let me know as I don't follow the utes real close. TIA!

This is a Ute and Cougar board, no?
