He didn't touch it very often and 2 of those times he turned it over with offensive fouls (one of which I thought was bogus). I was surprised how little he played in the 2nd half.

When I saw JT at the scorer's table with 4 minutes left I had to verify that he hadn't played at all in the 2nd half. Then I looked at the scoreboard - why change when what you've been doing has worked so well.

Your 2010 MWC Men's Basketball champs. TCU took 'em down to the wire, but it was not to be.

It'll be interesting to see if Alford is targeted for a big-time job. Some will argue that Iowa was, but seems like the opinion at the time was that he had maybe one more season there before he would get the ax.

I don't get the feeling Alford plans to use UNM as a stepping stone. He was under fire at Iowa. He own the state now. He's got recruiting going. He's building a program that's going to be good for a while. I don't know his contract, but I imagine he's getting $1M a year.

You know after watching what BYU's reserves could do last night and hearkening back to the win over UTEP without Jimmer, I agree. The Lobos are a very good team. I think that they win the MWC tourney they deserve a legit 3 seed, and probably the 3 seed that plays the worst 2 seed.

Very good college hoops team.
