You mean a UA team that did not deserve to make the NCAA tournament? A team that had the worst resume' ever for an at-large team.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI am now wishing GU to fall far enough that the seeding will be BYU-GU in round one, a "the NCAA giveth and taketh away" seeding like Utah got last year agaisnt a talented UA team.*Banned*

A talented UA team? You must be joking. They were the worst at large team invited last year. Literally the last team in. Snapshots in time...SU's vision of Ute athletics.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI am now wishing GU to fall far enough that the seeding will be BYU-GU in round one, a "the NCAA giveth and taketh away" seeding like Utah got last year agaisnt a talented UA team."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

I would love for a BYU/Georgetown matchup in the first round. Miles could use the rest in the first round.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI am now wishing GU to fall far enough that the seeding will be BYU-GU in round one, a "the NCAA giveth and taketh away" seeding like Utah got last year agaisnt a talented UA team.Fitter. Yet that worst team invited advanced farther than the BYU.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostA talented UA team? You must be joking. They were the worst at large team invited last year. Literally the last team in. Snapshots in time...SU's vision of Ute athletics.

Come on. You're all falling over yourselves trying to find something to bouy you up this season. It's a hollow victory to revel in BYU's shortcomings amidst your own soon-to-be 15-loss season. We as Cougar basketball fans know this all too well. Bide your time. Success will come again soon.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostYet that worst team invited advanced farther than the BYU.

I've no problem admitting that the Utes are not a good team this year. I'm just having a bit of fun with the post season futility of the BYU.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostCome on. It's on page 1 because Alford called a Samba lover an asshole. That's the story ESPN picks up on.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostIts on ESPNs front page right now, 2 days later!
Georgetown losing to another mediocre opponent did not make the front page either, ESPN must expect that by now. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

The game between two top 15 teams was an afterthought I'm sure. Even ESPN has to acknowledge an important game that doesn't happen to appear on their network.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostIt's on page 1 because Alford called a Samba lover an asshole. Shades of "Quest for Perfection." The MWC tournament will tell a lot.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostIt's hard to tell how a team reacts to a loss like BYU's loss to New Mexico. BYU has been flying high a lot on emotion and chemistry. It has been the darling of the media. It was an eight point favorite against New Mexico. Now all of a sudden it's not going to win the conference; New Mexico is in the spotlight and BYU has something to prove.

Except that Rose never put out T-shirts with that asinine slogan. I do see the resemblance though, but I think Rose has a different group than Bronco had that year. These guys have bounced back from losses this year very well and I suspect that despite the venue they will bounce back fine on Wednesday and again in Vegas. We shall see, however.Originally posted by UtahDan View PostShades of "Quest for Perfection." Georgetown losing by 20 points at the half. Georgetown loses by 13 points. I was apparently the only one brave enough to stand up to SeattleUte with such a brutally honest prediction about this Georgetown squad.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI predict Georgetown will lose by double digits. It may be time for Hoya Paranoia.
Sorry, just being honest!
