I think Baskerville Holmes is the only dude I can think of that was a good college hoopster who had two last names.

Other than that you hit it on the head concerning Mike Rose.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Yeah, Utah County basketball is really suffering from a dearth of talent this year.

You, in your sophistication, would not be basing that judgment on skin color, would you?
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

        I am LOLing.
        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

What is Mike Rose up to these days? I'll bet he has an awesome ward ball team.

I would also like to add that Lamont Morgan is no Ron McBride.

Let's not forget that the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is home to a certain someone who could shut Jimmer down in a heartbeat. Last night I kept wondering why TCU didn't sign him up and bring him to Provo for the game.

Mike Rose, Dave Rose, what's the difference. All those pasty faced Utah county dudes look the same to me and their names all sound the same.

I'm excited for you guys. Maybe you'll get your NCAA tournament win this year.

Although it has been established that Boylen has a lock on the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area, I feel confident that BYU will continue to have a strong presence in traditional areas such as Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler, Billings Montana, Star Valley Wyoming, and inner and outer Bakersfield.

No. I'm basing it on population base and history, population being the surest indicator of talent and competition.

I think the 1983 All Star Game was in Texas Ranger Stadium. Ever since Atlee Hamaker came in riding a 12-1 record with a 1.1 era and was shelled by the AL in the first win in 11 years, those metroplexers became dubious of Oriental fellas claiming they got mad skeelz.

This was only reinforced when Dat Ngyuen washed out for the 'Boys after Ronney Jenkins rode him like he was a female BYU trackster!

I got it. He's probably seething over the seeming on-court maturation of JT as well.
