Will Zvonko out rebound the Cougars on his own? Will Emery get the Oscar nod? Will Jimmer play less than 25 min?

TCU hit 12 of 13 shots to start the game against SDSU a couple games back. Granted they still only lead by 6. They are very turnover prone, and do not shoot the ball that well (The game vs SDSU was a major aberration) I see TCU hanging around for a few minutes but BYU pulls away winning by double digits.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostWill Zvonko out rebound the Cougars on his own? I'd be surprised if it isn't more. I'm not saying TCU shouldn't hang but the Utes eventually lost by 13 in a game that seemed much closer than that, even late. I'm not saying it snowballs like the CSU game but if BYU defends the 3 like they did against Utah than TCU stands little chance.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostTCU hit 12 of 13 shots to start the game against SDSU a couple games back. That was a quick half. Very few fouls, very few drives or cuts to the basket. Anderson looks like a waste of a scholarship, but maybe he'll end up with a Miles-like game in a year or two. Good to see Emery shooting well. This game needs more Jimmer.

If that happens it was indeed, a waste of a scholarship.Originally posted by woot View PostThat was a quick half. Very few fouls, very few drives or cuts to the basket. Agreed. Jimmer is pressing. They're double teaming him and rather than finding the open guy he's repeatedly trying to drive against two defenders. I'm guessing there are a lot of teams that would be interested in this footage.Originally posted by Surfah View PostIt's the only chink in our armor.
This game is downright boring.
That TJ Fredette track is surprisingly not embarrassing. Standard stuff, but being able to sound just a pop star is worth something.

He's actually decent. You should check out his myspace.Originally posted by woot View PostAgreed. Jimmer is pressing. Yeah I found it but immediately had to get the throw up off my monitor. Why is Myspace still in business? Can you imagine a bigger mess?Originally posted by Surfah View PostHe's actually decent. You should check out his myspace.
Ok I'll go try one more time.
edit: Yeah, not bad. I wish him well breaking into the industry.Last edited by woot; 02-02-2010, 07:39 PM.

Meanwhile, the game's over. Total snoozefest. For most of the players it probably wasn't much more rigorous than a practice so the guys should be well-rested for UNLV. Jimmer got elbowed in the back of the neck, got a finger in the eye, took various falls, and was running around like crazy, so not so much for him. That was a sweet 26-footer at the end to pad the stats though.

It sounded really ugly. TCU must be really bad. I think Wrubell said BYU shot under 40 percent.Originally posted by woot View PostMeanwhile, the game's over. Total snoozefest. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Well I am going to guess that BYU spent a lot of time focusing on UNLV as opposed to TCU.
Dave Rose gave huge first half minutes to Lamont Morgan, Charles Abouo, James Anderson and Mike Loyd.
I am guessing Tyler Haws played less than 10 minutes in the game. Also Jimmer did not play his usual minutes. BYU was obviously trying some different combinations.
Noah Hartsock had 14 and 6.
Chris Miles had his first career double digit rebound game (yikes!)
Quiet 26 for Jimmer although those that were worried in the other thread about him forcing stuff should feel better in those last 10 minutes he was throwing some serious dimes, driving and dishing. Not a lot of finishing by BYU but Jimmer was getting where he wanted on the floor.
Ugly game but an 18 point win is nice. (BYU still shot 42% from three)*Banned*
