I caught the Provo/Timpview game last Tuesday. It seemed Collinsworth could create a shot from just about anywhere. I was cheering for Timpview but I couldn't help being thrilled to see Kyle play so well.

Devin Durrant was also at the game. His son plays for Provo. Not as good as his old man, but he is OK.

Is the younger Durrant d-1 material?

        I don't think so.

What's the word with Chatman's kid? Seems like I heard a while back that he's another nice young talent on BYU's radar.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

There are probably those on the board that know more about him, though.

BYU's talent base going forward looks very favorable to BYU.

With the kids that have already mentioned plus the two kids from the midwest and the one on the east coast, your LDS recruiting base is certainly "diversifying."

It would be nice for Utah fans if Boylen had the slightest clue as to how to run a DI basketball program instead of trying to play NBA ball with JC talent.

I was looking at Utah's recruits over the last several years and was wondering how many of those recruits, if any have left the program? BYU has had a pretty good run of consistency.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

They'd both dominate the Dallas metro area.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

                    East coast = Demarcus Harrison
Midwest 1 = Jabari Parker. Who is Midwest 2?

                      Maybe this guy.

Mentions he is Mormon and BYU has flown out to watch a game. Sounds like he is a project and has only played basketball for a few years but at 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan he should have some great potential.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to from a while ago. Just wondering if there was anything more recent.

One possible additional benefit of the Emery vs. Henderson debate, as if we could dare dream for more...

I believe others have reported here that in HS Emery was big Utah fan, but Utah passed on him so he went with BYU where he's been very happy since. I assume Nick may have been similarly U-inclined, at least until big bro started shining at BYU. But given all the wonderful things being said about Jackson on UFN and in the the SLC newspaper columns by some of the more rabid Ute fans, I'm thinking any shot Utah had with Nick has taken a serious blow. Pile it on, Utes!

To use a BYU standard: We didn't want him anyway.
