I'm predicting a BYU win tonight.
Best movie scene ever featuring a Duran Duran song:

Hot Dog the Movie, Shannon Tweed and Hungry Like a Wolf.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Interspersed with shots of David Naughton cutting a rug, as well as foul-mouthed Chinese guy doing the robot.

Besides the Kevin Bacon punch dance routine and the volleyball scene from Top Gun, I don't think any 80s movie scene is better.

I liked the scene in Some Kind of Wonderful...Amanda Jones is in the museum and sees the painting of herself hanging in the gallery. She is tormented by the juxtaposition of beautiful art (her self-portrait...or, her very being), albeit of humble and unremarkable origin (painted by Keith, not by a famous artist like the other pieces in the gallery), when she realizes that, likewise, she has needlessly sold her soul (giving herself to Brady) simply to tarry in the midst of that which others consider to be priceless (the popular crowd). She finally realizes that she has intrinsic value and no longer needs to be with Brady to have genuine feelings of self-worth.

A beautiful scene. No nudity, though.

The best scene in that movie is when Duncan and his friends show up to Brady's party in order to take it to a respectable level.

Speaking of John Hughes movies, I couldn't ever pick up a Matthew Bender forms book without thinking to myself in the voice of the principal from The Breakfast Club, "Bender!" or "You just bought yourself another Saturday."

The spead in USA Today looks like it has moved to -1.5 UNM. I used to do that hedge technique, but not anymore. I just don't bet on cougar games, well rarely.

We can see where JeffLebowski ate lunch, went to class, first realized that he was actually going to go through with this plan to become an engineer, etc...
