    Most encouraging comment on future of BYU BB

    Prof-bball, I love you and I wish you'd post over here.

    But if you've read prof-bball comment on Jimmer over the years, you'll know the proper interpretation of prof-bball's post here is "yeah Haws pretty much owned Jimmer".

    It sounds nuts, but I really think we don't miss Cummard much with Haws and the improvement I expect from Abouo and to lesser extent Emery and Jimmer.

    Has Lee ever had a really good game in a big game? I know he rarely plays real poorly, but has he really ever taken over a big game?

    I think Jimmer is going to take over a few big games next year and if BYU is going to win in the NCAA, it might take Jimmer taking over.

      Jimmer has looked really good this year for BYU and you are right that he will be the key if BYU is to win a tourny game. Cummard really hasn't stepped up in big games in his career which has held him back from being a great player and is simply a good player.

          For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

          Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
