Anyone notice that the Longhorns knocked off two top-ten teams this week? They are 11-0 and all wins are by double digits. They have been fun to watch. I hope they can keep it going.

Watching them last night, I mentioned to my FIL that they might be the most talented team, top to bottom, I've ever seen. That doesn't mean they are the best team I've seen - some of their most talented players are young guys and their best player isn't a great player - but the way Barnes shuffles athletes in and out is pretty impressive.

I thought Michigan St played them about as well as you can, but eventually Texas just overwhelmed them with talent and athleticism.

Amen, my man. Big 12 play should be pretty fun this year with Kansas right there at the top and three other ranked teams.

Yes. That is a style of basketball that is very fun to watch.

I did. They are my pick this year.

They have unlimited bigs if foul trouble arises and their backcourt is fast and athletic. Kansas will be the biggest hurdle in conference. Should be a nice showdown in February and hopefully again in the Championship game.

They have unlimited everything. They have five guys I can think of off the top of my head that can play the point - Lucas, Brown, Balbay, Bradley and Ward when he gets back from injury. They have about 6-7 guys that can play the wing positions - Bradley, Hamilton, James, Mason, Johnson, Williams. And then, as you mentioned, there about 4 guys on the team that can play in the post - Wangmene, Pittman, James, Chapman. And all these guys can really play.

James averages 27 minutes a game and everybody else on the team averages less than 24 minutes per.
