  • On the bubble?

Joe Lunardi's first Bracketology is out. He has UNM as a 5 seed and UNLV as a 7 seed with BYU in the "First Four Out". Utah is not mentioned. UNM is playing very well right now, but I don't know if they will maintain their momentum through conference play. But they should make the Dance. UNLV will probably win the conference tournament since it is a home game. BYU should at least tie for the conference regular season championship and go to the tourney, but I see a 10 seed or higher again. But for some reason, I think that by the end of the season, with Haws having more game experience, Jimmer working his game, and Emery honing his offense to go with his defense (and hopefully JT finding his shot), we will go beyond one and done.

Haws looks good now, but by the end of the season he will likely struggle. Most freshmen have a difficult time with the length of the season. They look good at the beginning, but come February their legs and arms seem to get tired and their play drops off.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

As a general rule, I agree, but Haws seems to be very strong 9physically and mentally) for a freshman, not to mention his basketball acumen.
