Even though the Zags have now lost 4 out of 5, that's a good win for Utah. -
I'll take the win and be very happy about it. This is a very good win for Boylen right now with this team.
Gonzaga has struggled the last few games, but it is still one of the better teams in the country. It's up to the team whether this will give them some confidence or if it's just a fluke. If they can build on this, they can have a nice season - not a great one, but nice. BYU just has to take care of business in order to have a great season. Your boys have their destiny in their own hands. I wouldn't expect the Zags to fall out of the Top 25 just yet - basketball coaches and writers are a bit more forgiving about these kinds of losses, especially with how consistently good the team has been with Few at the helm.
I have to add that it's good to see a team with Giacoletti on staff continue it's losing way in the Huntsman Center.
