Ugh. Tough loss. We are struggling on the boards. OUtrebounded 39-30 with giving up 16 offensive boards. Henderson struggled tonight as well 2-9 1-7 form the 3 pt line.

Seems like the same team of 3 years ago. It wasn't until late in his junior year or early into his senior season that Nevil and the boys realized that he was just taller than everyone else. The Utes need to relax, pass more effectively, forget the Carlon Brown-for-three project (he's too athletic to stay on the outside), and pass the ball down low.

You have 2 legit 7 footers and one of them, albeit with a small sample size, is 2nd in the nation in FG%. Stop all of the 3 point shooting at least until it's gone through the post. If Washburn can play big and Henderson improves upon what promises to be a great career the Utes will do just fine.

FWIW, Tillie should be better by now and really isn't. Maybe Boylen recognizes this and is giving more minutes to tougher players. Also, Tavita will improve and be a good player in this league. I still like Boylen for Utah and this league but he may be a stepping stone for a bigger name to get Utah over the hump.
