It appears that I am about to be proven wrong. I didn't see that there was any possible way that Davies would play this year. It appears that he has made massive strides in the offseason and will be playing this year. I would suppose that many thanks for his improvement should go to the resident assistant dwarf coach Terry Nashif.

Terry Nashif will always have a warm spot in my heart for the patented cross over-break-the-ankles-of-Marcus-Banks-effortlessly-glide-down-the-lane-and-lay-the-ball-off-the-backboard (the piece of the backboard with the bottom of the net acting as a sentry).Originally posted by UteStar View PostIt appears that I am about to be proven wrong. Absolute classic in Cougar Hoops!
With respect to Brandon Davies. I think the BYU has a system that better utilizes his athleticism and can hide his poor skill level better than Provo High's. I still expect him to be on the bench a great deal of the time once BYU gets into conference play. I think opposing coaches are familiar enough with BYU to force enough half court sets that Davies is likely to be a liability for than an advantage.
The cool part is that BYU could have times when all 4 players on the court are African-Americans:
1 - Lamont Morgan
2- Michael Lloyd
3- Chuck Abouo
4- Logan Mangusson
5- Brandon Davies

Logan Magnusson is a very poor athlete for a black guy. But he is deceptively quick.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostTerry Nashif will always have a warm spot in my heart for the patented cross over-break-the-ankles-of-Marcus-Banks-effortlessly-glide-down-the-lane-and-lay-the-ball-off-the-backboard (the piece of the backboard with the bottom of the net acting as a sentry).
