2020 United States Presidential Election Prediction Thread

And there's only one politician over the past decade that at various points both sides have loved and loathed. The perfect compromise candidate.

This would be a superb result, but unfortunately it's constitutionally impossible. The House can choose only from among the three highest electoral vote recipients. Perhaps Ted's Jo wins after all. If the House fails to elect a President by January 20, the VP picked by the Senate (it can only choose among the top two VP vote-getters) serves as the acting President until the House finally elects one. If the Dems flip the Senate, they'll be content to let Kamala serve as President until the House caves and votes for Joe. If the Senate remains Republican, I think the Dems would allow Pence to reign and stonewall Orange Julius. Even that would be a better result.

Trump and his increasing body of GOP enablers will do whatever they can to cheat and steal this election. If people's votes are counted and shenanigans are kept to a minimum Biden has a good chance, but I don't feel optimistic. I didn't feel great last time either.

It's somewhat discouraging that this isn't a landslide. I realize Biden isn't a spring chicken, but he's a decent guy who has had such a reputation for years. Trump is beyond awful, and each day it seems more difficult to justify voting for that wretch.

Out of all the Dems that were running this year Biden is about the worst. (About the only candidate that is worse is Harris who will most likely be president if Joe is elected.) For example, he claims he knew nothing about his son's business affairs (not to mention his other affairs). How did he NOT know about them when everyone else did? That just makes him look like a complete dumbass or a dumbass liar and crony. In either case, the man shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a public office, especially POTUS.

Yeah, Drumpf is awful but Biden is corrupt and mentally ill. In general, both the GOP and the Democratic parties are pure sh*t and need to be burned to the ground. F*ck them both. The two party system needs to go.

And as for voting shenanigans just look to the Dems primary. They continue to screw candidates like Bernie over. When voter fraud is found in the general election it is usually always the democrats. You know only the tip of the iceberg is being seen. Are the Dems so stoopid that they are about the only ones being caught?

Ted is pretending to be like an ad that is playing in NV right now. Shows a woman and she puzzles over her at-home ballot (surprising). Her internal monologue debates between Democrats and Republicans. She ultimate concludes that "yes, Republicans aren't perfect," before demonizing the left by claiming that the Dems want to crush our economy, foment violence in the streets, and kill our jobs. She is at peace voting for the not-quite perfect Republicans.

Its odd to me. I have seen more straight "Vote Republican" ads in NV this year than ever before. In fact, I'm not sure I remember any such ads in the past. Not vote Trump, not Vote X candidate, just Vote Republican.

Last week I saw the most incredible Pro-Trump campaign billboard I have ever seen. It was a picture of a bald eagle with a Trump-style coif. It looked something like this:

I glad they no longer have the option on my ballot to vote straight party line and not have to fill out the whole thing. That made me angry that they offered that choice encouraging people to be lazy with their duty and choice.

Ted has had 4+ years to convince us that he's really a libertarian. Look at his body of work here and ask yourself this: would his posts look any different if he were an out and proud Trump supporter?

It's OK Ted. I mean, most of the libertarian party is kind of cray cray. I'd be a little embarrassed myself to throw my support behind them nationally. Find a safe political harbor and wait until they are less crazy. It's fine to come out to us and admit your Trump support. We won't be the least bit surprised.
