Hey, so what is going to happen when the antifa kids and BLM'ers that are pulling down all these civil war and slaver (e.g., Chris Columbus) statues figure out who gave eulogies for segregationists and KKK member's funerals?
Biden, under fire for comments on segregationists, gave eulogies for Strom Thurmond, Robert Byrd: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bid...nd-robert-byrd"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Well, time to rename all those MLK streets and the holiday after George Floyd, I guess."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

That's seriously such a stupid statement from Biden. The reason why there's a giant statue of MLK on the National Mall right now is because of his death. I doubt it would be there, or that MLK would be the symbol he has become, if he were still alive today. The tragedy of George Flloyd's death has brought about some good, but the suggestion that it has had a greater impact that MLK's death is just one more piece of evidence of Biden's mental decay.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

Obviously this is a premature statement, as far as overall impact. But there has been a lot of serious discussion of police reform and a national conversation that has been isolated and amplified by everyone being on quarantine. We have yet to see what legislative acts will come as a direct result of this-- and may not until next year when we have a different legislative composition-- but the immediate response is eerily similar: a giant swell of nationwide rioting, violence and peaceful protests. The movement this time has been worldwide and extremely visible, with the advent of social media and media saturation.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostThat's seriously such a stupid statement from Biden. I don't think it was a well-phrased statement, but I certainly don't think it's a sign of 'mental decay.'

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...-be-president/It’s fair to speculate whether Biden is mentally fit to be president
[...]
Joe Biden is 77, four years older than Reagan was during the 1984 campaign. If Biden is elected, he’ll be older on the day he takes office than Reagan was on the day he left office. So yes, his mental fitness is a legitimate issue.
There is plenty of cause for concern. Biden recently announced “I think we can win back the House” and promised to ban the “AR-14.” He mistook Super Tuesday for “Super Thursday,” and forgot the words of the Declaration of Independence, saying “We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women are created, by the, you know, you know the thing.” In South Carolina, he misstated what office he was running for, declaring “My name’s Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate.” On three occasions last month, Biden declared he was arrested in South Africa trying to visit Nelson Mandela in prison — an incident his campaign later admitted never happened. He earlier described meeting a Navy captain in Afghanistan, but The Post reported that “almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect.” He claimed to have worked with Chinese leader “Deng Xiaoping” on the Paris Climate Accord (Deng died in 1997). He claimed during a debate that “150 million people have been killed [by guns] since 2007” (which would be nearly half the US population). He said he met with Parkland victims while he was vice president even though the shooting took place after he left office. He has declared that Democrats should “choose truth over facts” and that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.” He pledged to use biofuels to power “steamships.” He repeatedly gets confused about what state he is in; called “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace “Chuck”; said his late son Beau “was the attorney general of the United States”; and confused former British prime minister Theresa May with the late British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.

If only there was a more mentally fit candidate on the other side, then I could proudly vote for him over Biden!Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Biden running mate search zeroes in on group that includes at least four black women
Among the candidates who have progressed to the point of more comprehensive vetting or have the potential to do so are Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.), Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.), former national security adviser Susan E. Rice and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, all of whom are black. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who is white, is also in that group, as is New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who is Latina.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
