  • Trouble in River City?

Shortages galore whether primary care or specialty. So let's make it even more attractive for doctors; make them pay an additional tax (assuming they make more than $250K) and work for the government.

I guess that's one way to cut healthcare costs. Reduce the number of doctors while the population is growing older and more people come into the healthcare system.

I haven't figured out the math yet but it doesn't look good.

I don't think you are exie. I think you are Y'z Guy. I remember him always providing links to stories. Although much more prolific now, perhaps it is because you have matured and have more time to look this stuff up.

do you think this is going to be a problem? or is it fear mongering by the NY Times?

just discussing topics with my colleagues during lunch waiting for the next surgery.

when I need some humor on an otherwise down day, I just come here and get a kick out of some of the posts.

I don't read the NY Times, even when a link is provided. I would screw up a Katie Couric interview.
