                              ok, but we have the right to state our belief that their choice was stupid. I don't think any electorate has ever eventually not regretted voting in someone who promised to take away civil liberties.

                                So, if I'm understanding this correctly, the Brazilians had a choice between a Trump-like figure (populist movement, capitalistic, fear-mongerer) and a Clinton-like figure (long history of corruption, public sector investor, Communist running mate). You'd have thought the Worker's party would have learned a thing or two from the US election and not nominated a big-time-baggage-carrying communist leaning liberal
